Flower Carpet Scarlet
Another fantastic Flower Carpet Rose has been released from the Tesselaar company! This one is called Scarlet and just like the other Flower Carpets in the series, it is bound to impress everyone who comes across it. Flower Carpet Scarlet is absolutely gorgeous with its masses of bright red double blooms in clusters of up to 30cm in diameter from late spring to autumn atop dark green glossy foliage. A tough little character growing 60 - 80 cm in height and 100cm in width, Scarlet can handle weather conditions including extreme cold and heat and is also highly disease resistant. A very low maintenance ground cover rose requiring pruning back anytime during the growing season with shears (no need to be fussy!) to shape and back by 1/3 of the size in late winter.
