Sprouts Alive Mustard

(Sinapis alba)

Very easily grown, high in key vitamins.

When to plant: All year round as required.
How to grow: Use a small shallow tray or punnet with drainage holes and place a small amount of seed compost in the base. Sprinkle seeds evenly on the soil and add a light layer on top to cover over. Place in a warm, well-lit position indoors and keep lightly moist. You can harvest the young sprouts when they reach 2-5cm high. If you want white sprouts you need to keep the tray in darkness the entire time.
Harvest: All year round as required.
