Red Currant

An attractive deciduous shrub which provides an abundance of delicious red berries during Summer.

Grows to a height of 2mt and a width of 1mt.

Uses

• Fresh, juice, fruit jelly, fruit pies and sauces

Care

• Tolerates wet & shaded areas
• Prefers organic matter
• Mulch well
• Prune lightly as flowers appear towards the base of 1 year old strems  and on the spurs of older stems
