We have been growing and selling this dwarf lemon since 1981, and it is a proven beauty! It only grows 2m high at its maximum, and will produce fruit from a young age. The images attached were taken locally in Melbourne. A 5 year one in a pot and the same age in the ground. With all citrus plants it is very important to prepare the soil well. The roots are fiborous and will have trouble pushing through hard soil. For clay soils that are not grey mix gypsum (1kg per 1m2) and compost (mushroom compost or cow manure are readily available) together with your soil, and use as a top soil. We do not recommend adding imported soil. For sandy soils use compost and a wetting agent. The wetting agent makes the water penetrate your soils evenly. Add more wetting agent every year before summer.
