Features: Velvety, silver foliage is a feature on its own nut also acts as a foil, cradling clusters of bright red buds for an intriguing display in spring. Small, papery white flowers follow into summer. Very dry tolerant and easy to grow. Quick to grow with a compact habit.

Care: Grows well in most soil types which are well draining. Once establised water requirements are very low, but do not allow to dry out completely over extended periods of heat. Prune to shape in late Autumn and apply slow release fertiliser at this time. Remove spent flowers to tidy.

If leaves are looking brown in late summer and autumn, check for small caterpillars. Use a natural insect control called Success to control caterpillar.
