The silver bush has been a gardeners favourite throughout the drought in Melbourne. It doesn't require any additional watering once its roots are established. During spring every part of the plant is covered in a white disc flower, smothering the foliage so that it is a ball of white. The flowers last into early summer. The rest of the year its neat shape and silver foliage give structure and colour to the garden. Best in full sun. Does not tolerate wet conditions. grows to 60cm high by 1m across
