Anigozanthos Big Red 150mm

This Kangaroo Paw is one of the hardy varieties. The foliage stays in a compact 60 x 60cm area, and the flowers will grow above the foliage to upto 1.2m. The flower height will vary depending on the moisture in the soil. They can tolerate very dry conditions, but the flowering can be stunted and lose its colour quickly. For best results, give some additional water during the flowering period (spring and summer)

Best planted in groups for mass of colour. Cut the flower stems back to the ground when the flower loses its colour. New flowers will continue to come immediately after cutting.
