Our half wine barrels are genuine french oak barrels from the Barossa Valley in South Australia. They even have small amounts of shiraz still in the bottom when they arrive. Barrels are a perfect size for small fruit trees and no dig vegie gardens. They can also be lined and used as a water feature. It's important to remember to drill holes in the bottom for water to drain out before planting your tree. Use only good quality potting mix with no soil added for best results. 70cm diameter by 50cm high. A 1/2 barrel will take approximately 4 bags of 30lt potting mix to fill.
